The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that a temporary closure will take place on Salalah Street in both directions, between Oqba bin Nafie Street and Salwa Road Service Road (at Khalid bin Ahmed I/C), from Wednesday 18 November 11 pm) to Friday 20 November (5 am), and in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
During this period, Al Furousiya Street and Salah Al-Deen Street can be used as alternative roads, as shown in the attached map.
The purpose of the temporary closure is to allow excavation works to develop a rainwater drainage infrastructure in the south of Doha.
The Public Works Authority will install directional signs to alert road users to this change in traffic. The Authority urges all commuters to comply with the speed limit and to follow the road signs to preserve their safety.
