MES Indian School students put up an outstanding performance in a competition held recently by the North Indian Association in collaboration with the Indian
Embassy to celebrate Gandhi Jayanthi and Hindi Pakhwara-2020.
In a competition attended by a largne number of Indian school contestants from all over Qatar, MES Indian School participants made a significant contribution by winning prizes in different categories, such as Ekanki Natak (One Act Play) and Swarachith Kavita (self-written poem).
Anam Suhail of Grade IV B won first place and Safa Shekh of Grade IV H won third place in the junior category poem. In the One Act play, Anam Sohail of Grade IV Band Izza Mariam of Grade II D won third and fourth respectively.
Ayana Sameer of VIII L won the third prize in her self-written poem. The winners were awarded trophies and certificates, and the students who participated in the various competitions were awarded the participation certificates.
The winners were complimented by the Principal of the School, Hameeda Kadar and the Heads of Sections for their outstanding efforts and achievements.
