Qatar, Libya’s GNA sign MoU to boost security relations Oct 27, 2020 0 6656 12345 QNADohaPrime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani met Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Libya in the Government of National Accord (GNA), Mohamed Al Taher Siala, Minister of Interior in the State of Libya’s Government of National Accord (GNA), Fathi Ali Bashagha and their accompanying delegation in Doha on Monday.The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation and the ways to improve it in different fields, particularly in the security.It also focused on discussing the latest developments in Libya, and issues of mutual interest.Following the meeting, the PM and Libyan ministers witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of security cooperation between the two countries’ ministries of interior. The Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance cooperation in the security field to benefit the interests of the two countries.
