The Public Prosecution, represented by the Institute of Criminal Studies, has concluded its training programme specialised in cybersecurity investigation, which included a number of Assistant Public Prosecutors ‘affiliates of the second foundation course’.
The course was organised in cooperation with the Economic and Cyber Crimes Combating Department at the Ministry of Interior and the Information Systems Department at the Public Prosecution.
At the end of the course, Director of the Institute of Criminal Studies at the Public Prosecution Dr Saad Hanif Al Dosari presented certificates of appreciation to the course participants.
The training programme dealt with issues related to cybersecurity, which is considered a practice to protect systems, networks and programmes from cyberattacks, which usually aim to access, change or destroy sensitive information, extort money from users or interrupt business operations.
