HER Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, crowned the winners of the third cycle of the ‘Akhlaquna Award’ and the inaugural ‘Akhlaquna Junior Award’, at a special Akhlaquna Day ceremony at Education City recently.
Among the winners, Bhagath Krishnan of BPS received the award for Grade VII-IX from HH Sheik Mozabint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation (QF) in the second category of prestigious awards.
Bhagath Krishnan of Grade VIII took part in the competition in February 2020 when he was in Grade VII and was hailed as one of the young stalwarts who embodied human values and exemplary character after a thrilling three-cycle competition, winning yet another accolade for BPS and its idealistic shining culture of education.
Bhagath Krishnan is the son of Krishna Kumar and Deepa Kumar. Gope Shahani, Chairman and AP Sharma, Chief praised Bhagath’sr.
The Akhlaquna Award was established by Qatar Foundation (QF) in 2017 to recognise members of Qatar’s community who demonstrate social awareness, compassion, and thoughtfulness toward others, improve society through the example they set, and become leaders and agents of change. The award aims to emphasize the importance of the four values of mercy, honesty, generosity, and tolerance.
This year, QF also launched Akhlaquna Junior, designed to honour school students who uphold the morals and values that Akhlaquna seeks to promote and cultivate.
