Qatar on Sunday recorded 205 coronavirus cases (COVID-19) — 172 from community and 33 from travellers returning from abroad, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said in its daily report.
Also, 231 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 128,099. Sadly, a 66-year-old patient receiving necessary medical care succumbed to the virus, bringing the death toll in the country to 230.
The MoPH said all the new cases have been introduced to isolation and are receiving necessary healthcare according to their health status.
“Measures to tackle COVID-19 in Qatar have succeeded in flattening the curve and limiting the spread of the virus and the number of new daily cases and hospital admissions is continuing to decline,” it added.
