The second session will answer the question ‘What Will You Study at GU-Q?’, including an overview of Georgetown’s renowned Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) degree, which offers majors in International Politics, International Economics, International History, and Culture and Politics. The third and final session will provide an overview of the diverse career paths available with a degree in foreign service, and a presentation of the many resources, school clubs and activities that create the university’s unique student experience in Education City. Joseph Hernandez, director of admissions, expressed GU-Q’s commitment to providing students and their families all the support they need to make an informed decision about their future college plans, and overcoming the disruptions of the pandemic. “Traditionally, the Discover Georgetown event occurs over the course of an evening. The future opportunities and possibilities we present are a crucial step that helps students identify the right program and build towards a successful career.” To attend, interested participants can register at https://admissions.qatar.sfs.georgetown.edu/portal/discovergeorgetown prior to the event.
