Five persons were arrested in on Thursday for violating home-quarantine conditions imposed as part of efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The arrests were made in implementation of the precautionary measures approved by the health authorities represented by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and its supporting bodies to ensure public safety and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The violators are subject to legal accountability in accordance with the procedures of the health authorities. The arrested persons are Eissa Abdullah Eissa Al Khuwaitar Al Ajami, Saoud Thafer Mohammed Safar Al Qahtani, Salem Mohammed Mubarak Juhaiwal Al Juhaiwail, Abdulhadi Mubarak Hadi Al Malhan Al Ahbabi, and Jabor Fadel Abdullah Al Mahana Al Nuaimi.
