Seven persons were arrested on Tuesday for violating home-quarantine conditions imposed as part of efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The arrests were made in implementation of the precautionary measures approved by the health authorities represented by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and its supporting bodies to ensure public safety and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The arrested persons are Muhammad Saeed Jibran Saghir Al Shahrani, Abdullah Muhammad Salem Muhammad Al Hanitem, Nasser Abdul Hadi Jaber Al Marri, Saud Khalid Faraj Abdullah Al Abdullah, Saud Nasser Rashid Madagh Al Hajri, Muhammad Regahel Muhammad Jaber, and Muhammad Zaid Haitham Al Saadi.
The authorities concerned have called on citizens and residents of home quarantine to fully adhere to the requirements set by the Ministry of Public Health to ensure their safety and the safety of
others.
