The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has launched a ‘scholarship’ service on the Metrash2 application, which will help students on scholarships complete their many transactions, obtain all information from the scholarships section guide and to have direct communication with the parties concerned.
The service was launched during an introductory meeting organised by the MoI for the scholarship students within the scholarship programme 2020. The meeting aimed to introduce the students to the procedures related to the scholarship and the regulations governing scholarships for university studies at the expense of the MoI at home and abroad.
At the meeting, the MoI affirmed its interest in qualifying and training its cadres in the most prestigious universities and academies in and outside the country, to ensure a distinctive security and service performance that keeps pace with the development that the world is witnessing in various fields.
Head of Human Resources at the MoI Major-General Khalifa Nasr Al Nasr said the ministry pays great attention to upgrading the scientific level of its cadres, to ensure a distinguished security and service performance based on modern scientific foundations.
The advancement of the service security field requires the presence of highly qualified officers, armed with knowledge in all fields of the ministry’s specialisations, Al Naser said, explaining that the aim of the introductory meeting for the MoI scholarships to military and civilian universities and academies at home and abroad is to inform the students of all procedures related to their studies.
Al Nasr also praised the scholarship students who were graduated in previous years, as they were a distinguished addition in the working sites, wishing them success in their education and asking them to show a spirit of discipline.
For his part, Head of Scholarships Section at the Human Resources Department Major Abdul Rahman Ahmed Al Ibrahim stressed that the MoI has reached higher levels of institutional performance, through training the cadres at the best training centres and specialised institutes.
