The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday discussed bilateral strategic relations and the means to enhance them in all fields. HH the Amir later held a luncheon banquet in honour of the Turkish president and his accompanying delegation. The meeting and the luncheon banquet were attended by a number of ministers. Earlier, on arrival at Doha International Airport, the Turkish president and his accompanying delegation were welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and Ambassador of Turkey to Qatar HE Mehmet Mustafa Goksu.
