THE Indian Business & Professionals Council (IBPC), which functions under the aegis of the Indian Embassy, bade farewell to its Vice President (V-P) Sumit Malhotra recently.
Sumit has been in Qatar for the last 10 years and is the CEO of Goals 101. IBPC President Azim Abbas presented Sumit Malhotra with an Appreciation Award for his exceptional services to the IBPC and the Indian community.
Speaking on the occasion, Abbas said, “Malhotra, with his charming personality and dedication, has always been at the forefront of addressing the Indian community’s affairs and the IBPC has benefited a lot from his knowledge about Qatar and Indian markets.”
Malhotra has led many international delegations. Abbas thanked him for his tireless efforts and unconditional support.
Those who attended the farewell ceremony included ICBF President PN Baburajan, ICC President AP Manikantan, ISC VIce President EP Abdulrehman, IBPC MC and prominent Indian community members. The event was held with the COVID-19 protocols in place.
