THE Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior (MoI), in association with the General Directorate of Drug Enforcement, is organising a virtual seminar on ‘Drug Prevention’ on September 28 (Monday) from 9am to 10.30am through the Zoom application.
During the awareness seminar, officers from the Drug Enforcement Directorate will be highlighting the risks of bringing belongings of others by passengers to Qatar without verifying the content, while informing attendees about the procedures for bringing prohibited medicines and medicinal drugs to Qatar, as well as punishments for abusing, producing, importing and drug trafficking in Qatar.
They will also be talking about Qatar’s humanitarian approach towards the treatment of drug addicts.
The targeted audience of this seminar are administrative and Human Resources managers, as well as public relations officers of government and private companies, schools and the heads and representatives of expat community organisations in general.
The virtual seminar on drug prevention will also offer an opportunity to the attendees to interact with officers of the General Directorate of Drug Enforcement to clear their doubts they might have on the subject.
