The competent authorities on Thursday arrested three people for violating home-quarantine conditions.
The arrests were made in implementation of the precautionary measures approved by the health authorities represented by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and its supporting bodies to ensure public safety and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The violators are subject to legal accountability in accordance with the procedures.
The arrested persons are Muhammad Sayyah Shihan Hamim Al Shammari, Muhammad Al Sayed Ahmed Mohamed Shaheen and Al Sayed Muhammad Al Sayed Al Hanash.
The authorities concerned have called on citizens and residents of home quarantine to fully adhere to the requirements set by the Ministry of Public Health to ensure their safety as well as that of others.
