The programme’s content and learning methods blend research with practical application whereby the participants are given exposure to international best and next practices.
“Our SBUM programme has been designed to tackle the challenges of the current times, and the need for adaptation and resiliency at the personal and organizational level. Despite today’s uncertainty, education is something that cannot be compromised”, said Dr Pablo Martin de Holan, dean of HEC Paris in Qatar. The HEC Paris in Qatar Specialized Master’s is delivered in a flexible 15 to 18-month modular format, starting with a core curriculum focused on leadership, strategy, finance and leading change. The in-class part of the programme consists of two to five-day modules each representing a total of 360 hours.
The Specialized Master’s programme is based on a number of key fundamental principles, which includes an interactive learning environment that encourages participants to discover next generation insights. It focuses on practical application and global success and promotes a rapid integration of the latest trends like digitalisation. The programme also administers an orientation towards responsible leadership and management.
The Specialized Master’s is further characterised by a professional thesis, which enables participants to focus on a specific challenge related to their industry and provides detailed and well-researched solutions. The programme reflects HEC Paris’ commitment to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based economy in Qatar and to strengthen corporate competitiveness in the region.
Another benefit of enrolling for HEC Paris’ in Qatar Specialized Master’s programme is that its graduates become part of the institution’s prestigious alumni network worldwide, which was ranked number one by The Economist in 2019.
