Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah paid a visit to one of the Qatar Armed Forces’ (QAF) units receiving training in the US State of West Virginia on Tuesday. These forces are in the US within the framework of military cooperation between the two countries, which has witnessed clear progress in recent years, in an effort to ensure international peace and security and to combat terrorism. Attiyah was accompanied during the visit by Ambassador of Qatar to the US HE Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al Thani and Qatari Military Attache to the US Staff Brig. Gen. Nawaf bin Mubarak Al Thani. (QNA)
