Six persons were arrested on Monday for violating home-quarantine conditions imposed as part of efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The arrests were made in implementation of the precautionary measures approved by the health authorities represented by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and its supporting bodies to ensure public safety and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The violators are subject to legal accountability in accordance with the procedures of the health authorities. The arrested persons are Salman Ahmed Yousef Hassan Al Obaidli, Ali Mohammed Ali Jassmi, Ahmed Refaat Mohammed Abu Dunya, Abdullah Mohammed Hamad Al Amyaa Al Heneitem, Salem Jaber Hamad Haffar Al Qreem and Mohammed Ahmed Ibrahim Daalouj Al Kubaisi. The authorities concerned have called on citizens and residents undergoing home quarantine to fully adhere to the requirements set by the MoPH to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
