Qatar affirms full support for Palestinian cause Sep 21, 2020 0 6458 12345 QNADohaQatar has affirmed its firm position on the Palestinian cause, which stipulates ending the Israeli occupation and establishing the State of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital within the framework of international legitimacy and relevant Security Council resolutions. Qatar has reiterated its position that all Palestinian refugees must have the right of return, which is the sustainable solution to this conflict that has lasted for more than 70 years.In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said it is regrettable to see some misleading media campaigns that try to mix up issues and distort the image of Qatar at the expense of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights at this defining moment in the history of the conflict.The statement said Qatar will spare no effort in providing whatever support it can to alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinians until they obtain their legitimate rights.“It is regrettable to see some misleading media campaigns that try to mix up issues and distort the image of Qatar at the expense of the brotherly Palestinian people and their legitimate rights at this defining moment in the history of the conflict.
