MME honours cleaning workers for their efforts

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) on Thursday honoured a number of cleaning workers in appreciation of their daily efforts in maintaining public cleanliness throughout the country. This comes within the framework of celebrating the World Cleanup Day which is marked on third Saturday of September every year. The MME also organised a campaign to clean Al Wakra beach, during which large quantities of waste were collected and removed. (TNN) page 2
