Window between prayer call and Fajr and Asr prayers increased Sep 16, 2020 0 8891 12345 Tribune News NetworkDohaWith the prayers in mosques returning to normal gradually, the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has increased the waiting time between the call to prayer and the Iqamah for Fajr and Asr prayers to 20 minutes from Wednesday. “Starting from Fajr prayer September 16, the time between the call to prayer and the Iqamah for Fajr and Asr prayers in the mosques will be 20 minutes,” Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs said in a tweet. The Iqamah is the second call to Islamic prayer, given immediately before the prayer begins.
