The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Almana Motors Company, a dealer for Lincoln vehicles in Qatar, has announced the recall of the 2016 Lincoln MKX model due to potential damage to the front seat wiring harnesses that may cause airbags to fail.
The recall campaign is part of the ongoing efforts of the ministry to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry said that it would coordinate the maintenance and repair work with the dealer and would communicate with customers to ensure that they have completed the necessary repairs.
The ministry urged all customers to report any violation to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquires and suggestions.
