Qatar Charity (QC) has called for support for its education projects in several countries around the world, including Qatar, under the slogan “Teach Me” to help more than 5,000 needy children return to school.
The drive coincides with the start of the new school year, in the midst of serious challenges faced by poor and low-income families, particularly as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Qatar Charity, through these education projects, aims to provide opportunities for vulnerable children to return to school and to contribute to the achievement of the fourth sustainable development objective of the United Nations, which is linked to quality education.
Qatar Charity works on setting up, furnishing and repairing educational institutions, training teachers and providing school bags, textbooks and school fees to ensure quality education for all, especially students belonging to poor and low-income families. Qatar Charity also seeks to build a brighter future for the children of these families by providing them with access to quality education.
Qatar Charity urges the people of Qatar to help provide school supplies to students in need and to pay their school fees to help them continue their studies, especially in the light of the coronavirus pandemic.
Donors can reach Qatar Charity through this link, home collectors (QCH.QA / APP), hotline 44667711, its 27 branches and 97 collection points across the country. To donate QR100, QR200, QR500 and QR1000, an EDU SMS can be sent to 92642, 92015, 92428 and 92429, respectively.
