Zulal Wellness Resort has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Elite Paper Recycling (EPR) to work together for building a more sustainable environment.  
The MoU, which was signed in the presence of Daniele Vastolo, general manager of Zulal Wellness Resort, and Abdullah Ibrahim Al Suwaidi, chairman of the Elite Paper Recycling, marks one of the first steps towards waste management based on the mutual aim of spreading awareness in the field of environmental sustainability and recycling within the community.
In a statement, Daniele Vastolo said, “It is a pleasure to be at this signing ceremony today, cementing Zulal Wellness Resort’s commitment towards a more sustainable environment.  Since the inception of our philosophy, we continue believing that personal wellness goes hand-in-hand with environmental wellness.
Recycling is one of the first steps towards reducing our carbon footprint, protecting our environment and enriching our wellness for years to come. We aim to involve our partners and the community in our sustainability initiatives and continue to recognise our responsibility in preserving our destination as well as our contribution towards securing a greener future for the upcoming generations”.
For his part, Abdullah Ibrahim Al Suwaidi, added: “We are very happy to sign this partnership with Zulal Wellness Resort. We are also keen on uniting efforts and exchanging services. During the first step, we will provide Zulal Wellness Resort with carton containers designed to throw paper waste and raise awareness regarding paper recycling. This is in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, and there will be many future cooperation between us and the resort, especially green initiatives at various levels. ”
Following this, the Communications and Marketing Consultant Ms Catina Aghayan remarked: “We are thrilled to have a partnership with a one-of-a-kind resort in Qatar that has wellness and sustainability as part of its core visions. We endeavour to build awareness and contribute to the development of a better quality of life and harmony with nature through waste management and recycling.”
