Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation provided a total of QR1.181 million in assistance to eligible groups in Qatar in July.
The foundation stated that the aid was allocated to needy families and others after scrutinising their circumstances, based on the organisation’s social responsibility and in fulfilment of its vision of providing health and education for a better life.
The aid included social assistance, payment of late debts for some cases, as well as the distribution of cash and in-kind assistance to poor families, orphans and widows from both citizens and residents, the statement said.
The foundation added that it follows a flexible system in its monthly financial and in-kind assistance that might be increased according to the needs, noting that its charitable operations department conducts a comprehensive study of cases through field research.
