The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure of Al Khaleej Street and the underpass at the Gulf Interchange in both directions, in the section between Wadi Musheireb Interchange and Gulf Interchange, from Thursday, August 20, until Sunday,
August 23.
The traffic restriction, to be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, will facilitate the completion of the wearing course, as part of the B-Ring Road Development Project.
During the closure period, road users will be required to use Ibn Mahmoud Street and Al Diwan Street, parallel to Al Khaleej Street, to reach their destinations.
Ashghal said it will instal road signs to guide motorists of the temporary closure and has requested all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the signs to ensure their safety.
