Qatar on Saturday reported 267 coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said in its daily report.
Also, 296 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in Qatar to 109,438.
Sadly, two people — aged 65 and 70 — succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll in the country to 182.
In a statement, the MoPH said all the new cases have been introduced to isolation and are receiving necessary healthcare.
“Measures to tackle COVID-19 in Qatar have succeeded in flattening the curve and limiting the spread of the virus and the number of new daily cases and hospital admissions is continuing to decline each week,” the MoPH said. The ministry urged people to adhere to the health precautionary measures.
