Charbel Wahba pointed out that the Lebanese officials received many phone calls from all over the world, expressing solidarity with Beirut after the explosion.Following the directives of His Highness The Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, urgent Qatari medical aid arrived in Beirut on Wednesday as Qatari Amiri Air Force aircraft landed at the Rafic Hariri International Airport carrying urgent medical aid and two fully-equipped 500-bed field hospitals to treat the injured by the explosion.Also, a fully-equipped team from the Qatari Search and Rescue Team of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) headed to Beirut on Wednesday to participate in the search and rescue operations.The Beirut Port blast killed at least 137 people and injured about 5,000 others, according to tentaive estimates.
