THE Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA), in cooperation with Qatar Charity (QC) and the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), has launched a fund-raising campaign aimed at supporting the Lebanese people, following the tragic disaster that struck the port of Beirut, in line with the position of Qatar towards the Lebanese people.
The launch comes in view of the explosion that rocked the Lebanese capital on Tuesday leaving hundreds of people, killed, injured or missing, in addition to the massive material damage.
The Qatari Government had promptly responded to the call made by the Lebanese government on Wednesday.
The campaign aims to provide relief materials, including health related items, shelter, food and other items with the support of Qatari community.
