Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Wednesday held a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Republic of Lebanon Charbel Wehbe.
During the phone call, the FM offered condolences of the government and people of Qatar on the victims of the explosion in Beirut Port, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
The FM expressed solidarity of Qatar with Lebanon and its full readiness to provide all kinds of assistance necessary to mitigate the effects of this explosion. The Lebanese minister thanked Qatar for its solidarity and continuous support. (QNA)
