Al-Shamal Municipality, represented by the General Cleaning Section of the Services Affairs Department, continues its campaign to sterilise and disinfect the municipality’s vital facilities during the blessed Eid Al-Adha holidays as part of its efforts to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The municipality cleaned and sterilised the northern abattoir both from inside and outside, including the floors, corridors and all abattoir facilities.
The streets, restaurants and shops were also cleaned and sterilised in the North City, Ruwais, the Fish Market and the Port Market, in addition to the Ruwais Health Center, car parks and the entire industrial area, including workers’ accommodations, shops, restaurants and garbage containers.
413 carcasses examined, 3 destroyed
Al-Shamal Municipality, represented by the Health Control Department, during the first, second and third days of Eid Al-Adha inspected 413 carcasses and destroyed three. It also inspected 9,360 kilograms of fish and destroyed 22 kilograms for not being fit for human consumption.
