Qatar on Monday reported 215 COVID-19 cases, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said in its daily report.
Also, 223 people recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in Qatar to 108,002.
The MoPH said the new cases have been kept in isolation and are receiving necessary healthcare.
“Measures to tackle COVID-19 in Qatar have succeeded in flattening the curve and limiting the spread of the virus. The number of new daily cases and hospital admissions is continuing to decline each week,” the MoPH noted.
“Proactive and extensive testing of suspected cases has enabled us to identify a high number of positive cases in the community,” it added.
While the restrictions of COVID-19 are gradually being lifted in Qatar, it is important for everyone to play their role in controlling the virus, the MoPH said.
