In a cheerful atmosphere, the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) continues to receive visitors in celebration of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, for which it has prepared a distinguished programme amid preventive measures that are in line with the precautionary policies adopted by the state to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Katara is one of the main tourist destinations that everyone intends to enjoy the happy atmosphere. In Katara, everyone finds what makes them happy, starting with the special activities of Eid Al-Adha celebrations, which include ‘Your holiday in your car’ where cars drive through distribution points and children receive their gifts according to the highest safety standards.
Katara also took into account the age groups when choosing Eid gifts and made sure that girls and boys’ gifts are diverse in proportion to their interests and what they like.
Katara Beach will also continue to receive visitors from 3pm until 10pm as it provides families with a wonderful outlet for swimming and other sports such as parachute.
On their part, visitors expressed their happiness with the joyful atmosphere, which offered them an opportunity to celebrate the holiday.
One of the visitors Nasser said, “The festive atmosphere in Katara is distinctive and beautiful. I was looking for the safest places to go and I found in Katara the best venue where we can enjoy the atmosphere of Eid while maintaining social distance and safety measures.
Child Jassim expressed his happiness at the holiday atmosphere in Katara.
Abdulaziz Al Marri thanked Katara, saying: “We thank those responsible for Katara for their interest in presenting the various events and their keenness to implement safety measures in a way that guarantees everyone’s comfort and joy.”
Khawla Ahmed voiced her happiness with the atmosphere of Eid, which she said she has missed due to coronavirus.
She said, “Immediately you enter Katara, you perceive the atmosphere of the feast with lights and decorations, in addition to the great welcome and interest in visitors, especially children who rejoiced in this atmosphere and gifts and Eid.”
Another visitor Ali Al Suleimani praised the organisation and the great efforts made to ensure that cars move freely and children receive their Eid gifts while they are in their cars.
Katara activities will continue until the fourth day of the blessed Eid Al-Adha.
