Sana’aAirstrikes by a Saudi-led alliance on Wednesday killed 10 civilians in northern Yemen, Houthi rebels said, amid a military escalation in the war-torn country.
The bombing in Yemen’s northern province of Jawf hit a house during a celebration for a newborn baby, killing 10 civilians, including six children, the rebel-controlled Health Ministry said in a statement.
Seven others were injured in the reported airstrikes, according to the rebels.
Local witnesses confirmed the 10 fatalities in the rebel-held area of al-Hazm in Jawf near the Saudi border. (DPA)
