Doha Festival City (DFC), Qatar’s only shopping option, has announced the opening of new retail stores from renowned global and local brands, adding to its extensive portfolio of first-of-a-kind marketing concepts in Qatar. Doha Festival City is also open to shoppers on weekends.
Newly opened stores Digital House Pro, Karaca Home and Ambix, a French perfume specialty boutique in Doha Festival City, are now ready to welcome shoppers.

Visitors can also now shop for their favourite French perfumes from Ambix specialty perfume boutique. Ambix Perfumes was inspired, with a Qatari spirit, by the idea of creating a unique blend of Arabian perfumes and high quality French scents to produce an exquisite collection of perfumes that are distinguished by quality and elegance pursued by the Qatari community.
In keeping with the ruling of the Supreme Committee, Doha Festival City will open all stores for weekends, trading Friday and Saturday, starting from 10 July and with 50 percent capacity. Restaurants and Food Courts remain closed but welcome home delivery and takeaways. Entertainment stores, including Cinema and play areas, will also remain closed. Children under the age of 12 are still excluded from entering the Mall until further notice.

Doha City Festival will be open from 8am to 10pm from Sunday to Saturday. The stores will be open from 10am to 11pm on Friday and from 10am to 10pm on Saturday. Monoprix is open from 8am to 11pm on Sundays and from 8am to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, while the M&S Food Hall is open daily from 9am to 10pm. Boots Pharmacy will remain open on weekdays from 9am to 10pm and on weekends from 9am to 11pm and Kulud Pharmacy will be open daily from 8am to
midnight. Banking and telecommunications will be open from Sunday to Friday.
In line with the preventive measures set out by the authorities, Doha Festival City has introduced strict health and safety measures for its staff and visitors throughout the mall. This includes weekly thorough disinfection treatment at the mall, robust cleaning and sanitisation operations during trading hours at the mall, and 127 hand sanitising stations installed in areas that have commonly touched surfaces.
Visitors must show their green Ehteraz QR code at the entrance to the mall and all shops, and should wear a face mask throughout their entire time in the mall. Physical distancing stickers in common queuing areas, such as ATM machines, banks, telecommunications kiosks and branches and various retail stores, have been installed to help shoppers maintain the required physical distance as set out in the guidelines by the authorities. Stores will provide entry and cash point sanitisers to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
