The General Directorate of Traffic’s online services, especially the Metrash2 application, witnessed a significant turnout from the public during the first half of 2020.
A total of 514,000 online traffic transactions were carried out during the first half of 2020 as compared to about 303,000 transactions for the same period last year.
Director of Traffic Awareness Department Colonel Mohammad Radhi Al Hajri said traffic statistics showed that the public conducted 450,000 online vehicle registration transactions - the most among online services, and 36,000 driving licences transactions.
The General Directorate of Traffic’s portal on Metrash2 offers more than 40 services related to driving licences, vehicles, signs, traffic violations, accidents, traffic certificates, and other services.
Colonel Al Hajri urged the public to take advantage of the online services provided through the Metrash2 application and the Ministry of Interior website.
