Electricity and water consumption has gone up in May as compared to the previous month, according to latest data released by the Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA). While electricity consumption in May has gone up by about 24.8 percent from April, water consumption increased by 12.6 percent as compared to April.
Meanwhile, the number of traffic accident cases without counting non-injuries reached 333 in May, registering a monthly increase of 0.9 percent. Light injuries accounted for the majority of these cases (90 percent). Eleven deaths were recorded in May, just 3 percent of the total traffic accidents. (TNN)
