Qatar has condemned the attack that targeted a security post east of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, which resulted in the death of a policeman and the injuries to others. In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and causes. The statement offered Qatar’s condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Iraq, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery. (QNA)
