The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Nasser bin Khaled Automobiles, the dealer of Mercedes-Benz in Qatar, has announced the recall of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter models of 2019-2020 due to faulty brake hoses that may come into contact with the rear part of the fender liner of the front axle, resulting in leakage of brake fluid.
Besides, the operating manual of the model failed to correctly describe the conditions that cause the automatic change to the stop position. The recall campaign is part of the ongoing efforts of the ministry to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs. The ministry said it will coordinate the maintenance and repair work with the dealer and will communicate with customers to ensure that they have completed the necessary repairs. (TNN)
