Qatar 2022 will unite the world once COVID-19 is defeated, says Thawadi

Secretary-General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) Hassan Al Thawadi has affirmed that the completion of the Education City Stadium, the third stadium for the FIFA 2022 World Cup, sends a message of hope to the world in light of the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. He said the World Cup will unite the world and bring people together after the crisis ends. “We are very proud to have completed our latest stadium. Our plans remain on track despite the pandemic. Education City Stadium is our third tournament venue, after Khalifa International and Al Janoub, and we expect to unveil two more stadiums by the end of the year,” he said.
