The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Al Fardan Automobiles, dealer of BMW in Qatar, has recalled BMW X6 and X6M models of 2015-2018 because the child seats ISOFIX are not installed properly.
The ministry, in cooperation with Porsche Centre Doha Al Boraq Automobiles, dealer of Porsche in Qatar, has also announced the recall of Porsche Macan Models of 2014 to 2019 due to a possible malfunction in the upper part of the fuel pump service cover.
The recalls come as part of the ministry’s continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry said it would coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and would communicate with customers to ensure that they carried out the necessary repairs.
The ministry has urged all customers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquiries and suggestions through Call center: 16001, Email: [email protected], Twitter: @MOCIQATAR, Instagram: MOCIQATAR and mobile app for android and IOS: MOCIQATAR
