The Ministry of Public Health on Wednesday announced the registration of 1,901 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.
In the last 24 hours, 1,506 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries in Qatar to 37,542. The ministry also announced two death cases due to the virus.
The ministry also recorded 15 new patients being admitted to intensive care in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases currently in intensive care to 237.
The new cases have been treated at various medical facilities in the country.
The ministry said the two new deaths are for people aged 48 and 53 years. The ministry offered condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased.
