4,451 more recover from virus Jun 01, 2020 0 592 12345 The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced the registration of 1,648 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), with 4,451 people having recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recovered people in Qatar to 30,290. The ministry also announced two new deaths from the virus, taking the death toll in the country to 38. In the last 24 hours, the ministry also saw 27 new patients being admitted to intensive care due to the virus, bringing the total number of cases currently in intensive care to 232. The ministry stated that the two people who died from the virus aged 53 and 77 years were suffering from chronic diseases and received treatment in intensive care. The ministry extended condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased. The new cases have been kept in complete isolation at various medical facilities, where they receive the necessary healthcare.
