The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani on Thursday held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the phone call, the strategic relations between the two friendly countries were reviewed, in addition to ways of supporting and enhancing them in the fields of investment, military, defence, health and sports cooperation, especially the exchange of experiences in the field of organising 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The latest developments in global energy markets and the most prominent issues on the regional and international arenas were also discussed during the call. (QNA)
