BUDAPEST: Croatia is allowing citizens from 10 EU countries to enter without proof of reason, the government in Zagreb decided on Thursday, lifting another measure implemented to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Previously, all travellers had to prove at the border that they had booked accommodation or owned real estate or a boat in Croatia. The new regulation affects citizens from Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
Travellers from other countries still have to declare at the border where they will be staying and how they can be contacted, in case new coronavirus infections are recorded in the vicinity. (DPA)
