Hamad Medical Corporation’s Hamad General Hospital (HGH) and Al Wakrah Hospital Emergency Departments received 754 cases on the second day of Eid Al Fitr on Monday. A majority of the cases were related to the gastrointestinal tract due to change in food habits following the Holy Month of Ramadan. The HGH received 539 cases (364 males and 175 females), while Al Wakrah Hospital attended to 215 cases (150 males and 65 females). There were only 30 admissions in total at both the hospitals. There were no critical cases. It is worth to note that these cases are not related to novel coronavirus disease.
