HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman met Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani. At the outset of the meeting, the FM conveyed the greetings of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani to HM Sultan of Oman, and His Highness’ wishes of more progress and prosperity to the Omani people. For his part, HM Sultan of Oman entrusted the FM to convey his greetings to the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness and the Qatari people continuing development and prosperity. Talks during the meeting focused on bilateral relations and means to bolster them, in addition to a host of regional and international issues of common concern. Oman’s Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, and Qatar’s Minister of Finance HE Ali Shareef al Emadi attended the meeting. (QNA)
