Police in north-western Pakistan have arrested a man suspected of shooting two teenage girls in the name of honour after they appeared in a viral video with a young man.
The suspect, Mohamed Aslam is a cousin of the girls, aged 18 and 16, who were shot dead in the region of North Waziristan on the Afghan border last week, police official Mohamed Ibrahim said.
At least four men - including the father of one victim and the brother of the other - were already in police custody and have confessed of being involved in the murders, Ibrahim added.
The third girl was still alive and had been rescued, another police official Mohamed Nawaz said.
The suspect was arrested on Wednesday night when he was trying to cross into neighbouring Afghanistan, local police chief Safiulkllah Gandapur said.
