To pursue its initiatives of building creative bridges between nations that connect people through cultural programmes, Years of Culture (YoC) has launched a photography online Open Call inviting creators to share their photographs that reflect French and Qatari features.
This Open Call is opened to all, professionals and amateurs. The online programme, whose ambassador is Aref Al Ammari, will give to the public creative ways to consider France and Qatar. As for the selected talents, the Open Call will offer them a platform to gain exposure and new audiences.
The Open Call is for talents that work with photography and present new ways of looking at France and Qatar.
Anyone who has photographs that give a creative perspective to French and/or Qatari features are welcome to submit their work.
The Years of Culture team will publish and tag the selected creators on the Years of Culture Instagram. All the submitted pictures should be sent alongside a short description explaining how they relate to France and/or Qatar.
Any photographer can submit his work on the webpage of Year of Culture and upload their photographs. In two weeks, about 20 files were already submitted, with the participation of great Qatari photographers like Jassim and Ali Saifaldeen.
