The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has opened a new 600-metre underpass at Mesaimeer Interchange to traffic towards Rawdat Al Khail Street and D-Ring Road from Doha Expressway. The new underpass is the eighth to be opened, as part of a series of openings, among nine underpasses at the Mesaimeer Interchange. The underpass consists of one lane and can accommodate about 2,000 vehicles per hour, coming from Doha Expressway.
