WASHINGTON: A woman in Dallas, Texas, was sentenced to seven days in jail after she refused to comply with court orders to shutter her hair salon, in line with the state’s lockdown orders.
During a court hearing on Tuesday, Shelly Luther, owner of Salon A La Mode, was told she could avoid jail time if she apologised, admitted she was acting selfishly and shuttered her business. (AFP)
